Out of the Sons of God Would Come The Only Begotten Son (Jesus Christ)
Contrary to public opinion and Greco-Roman mythology and philosophy, there were no Demi-Gods or Winged beings that interacted with mankind.The Bible will clearly show Genesis chapter 5 verse 1 states in the day that God created man in the likeness of God made he him; verse 2 goes on to say.. male and female created he them; and bless them, and called their name Adam in the day when they were created.Henceforth the sons of Adam were created male and female and called by the name of the male.Verse 3 of chapter 5 states that Adam begat a son in his own likeness after his image and called his name Seth.In verse 4 the Bible states that Adam lived 800 years after he had begotten Seth and he begat sons and daughters.Seth being the first born of Adam, the appointed one, after Cain had been expelled for Abel's murder becomes the lineage out of which would flow the sons of God.Seth’s first born was called Enos. From Enos begins the lineage of the Sons of God.In Genesis chapter 4 verse 26 it states that at the birth of Enos then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.Seth also lived 807 years after Enos’s birth and begat other sons and daughters like his father Adam.These are the daughters of men referred to in Genesis chapter 6 vs.1 “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fare; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”
This violation of God’s will to multiply man upon the earth, while keeping a holy lineage through the sons of God was corrupted until it displeased God.Gen. 6 vs. 6 “And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
Obviously at this point in time our Lord is grieved at his creation, man.
Firstly Adam is disobedient to the Lord by eating of the tree which he was commanded that he should not for he would surely die.Here begins the mortality of Man.
Secondly his wives firstborn son Cain slays there second born Abel and creates murder upon the earth.Our Lord in his mercy allows Adam to live to almost 1000 years.Also extending his mercy unto Cain after the murder of Abel by simply casting him out of the land where the blood was spilled (Jerusalem).From here on it would depend upon Seth (The appointed one ) to repopulate the face of the earth.Whiles Cain is expelled from the face of the earth to be a fugitive and a vagabond in all the earth.
Thirdly the sons of Seth (The Sons of God) kept on violating Gods plan.Gen ch 6. Vs 5 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”At this point in time the Lord carefully considered destroying his beloved creation (man).It was Noah who saved the sons of Cain as well as the sons of Seth, it was Noah who saved humanity.Gen. ch 6 vs. 7 clearly shows the desire of our Lord.“And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."Verse 8 goes on to clarify, “But Noah finds grace in the eyes of the Lord”.Verse 9 continues to say that Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
It is Noah who begat Shem, Ham and Japheth.Shem, Ham, and Japheth would begin the races upon earth.Japheth the eldest brought forth the white race (Gog and Magog); Shem the second born brought forth the brown race, and Ham his last son brought forth the black man upon the earth. Cain the eldest son of Adam goes to the East with a mark upon the forehead and establishes the first city upon Earth and named it after his firstborn son (Gen.4 vs.15-17). Gen ch 9 v24-27 describes Noah blessings upon his sons.Noteworthy is the fact that verse 26 says “And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.From here onward we look for the coming of our Savior Yashua the Christ, to come out of the lineage of Shem.
