One God, One Aim, One Destiny

It is my pleasure and my responsibility to put in perspective quotations and words of HIM Haile Selassie I which would lead us to our final destiny with Christ."It is our conviction that all activities of the children of men which are not guided by the Spirit and Counsel of God will bear no lasting fruit, they will not be acceptable in the sight of the Lord and will therefore come to nought as the Tower Babel came to naught." October 28.1966 World Evangelical Counsel, BerlinAccording to the Bible Ham, Shem, and Japheth were of one language when they and their generations began to build the tower of Babel and attempted to leave their mark in the earth as one people trying to reach God and heaven through there knowledge in building architecture and science. Man cannot build a house to the Lord so God destroyed this tower and separated them by language and land in the earth. Since then there have been wars and rumors of wars, conquests and discoveries among the nations, each vying for the most superior position in earth before God. No race is superior to the other. It is only through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (blessed be the Lord God of Shem) that man of any race may be justified. Thus speaks the Lion of Judah HIM Haile Selassie I,"Above all, Ethiopia is dedicated to the principle of the equality of all men, irrespective of differences of race, color, or creed. As we do not practice or permit discrimination within our nation, so we oppose it wherever it is found." HIM Haile Selassie Throne Speech 1966. Also HIM Majesty says that,"We in Ethiopia have one of the oldest versions of the Bible, but however old the version may be, in whatever language it might be written in, the Word remains one and the same. It transcends all boundaries of empires and all conception of race. It is eternal." Further in this same speech on the Bible HIM Haile Selassie I continues to guide humanity. "But he must realize that the Bible is his refuge and the rallying point for all humanity. In it man will find the solution of his present difficulties and guidance for his future actions. And unless he accepts with clear conscience the Bible and its great Message, he cannot hope for salvation. For my part I glory in the Bible." The Emperor has told us that he is of the tribe of Judah. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah hath prevailed. Revelation 5.5.There is no room in the kingdom of God for discrimination of any sort, God made MAN in his image and likeness and hath chosen David through whom to present his Christ. This act permits each and every individual human being to make his choice for salvation or condemnation. According to HIM Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia "We must look, first to Almighty God who has raised man above the animals and endowed him with intelligence and reason. We must put our faith in Him that He will not dessert us or permit us to destroy humanity which He created in His image." Further more HIM Haile Selassie I continues to guide us to our future destiny in Christ, when in this same speech of October 6, 1963 he continued his speech by saying, "We must become bigger than we have been: more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community."The Lord shall rise up one from among the brethren whom you shall hear in all things and whomsoever shall not hear him will be cut off. The words of HIM Haile Selassie I are words to live by. He taught us "That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; That until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation;" - Moreover "Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understanding and tolerance and good will; until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, equal in the eyes of the Almighty; Until that day, the African continent will not know peace. We Africans will fight if necessary, and we know that we shall win, as we are confident in the victory of good over evil." The kingdom of God is good over evil. The Lord hath chosen David to represent his throne on earth. In Christ's prayer to the Father, he prayed "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The destiny of the earthly kingdom is Ethiopia, where lies the throne of David and the Ark of the Covenant. It is from this throne of David that the Lion of Judah hath prevailed November 2, 1930. And unto him shall the gathering of the people be. The Prince Zere Yacob has called for such gathering Noveber 2,3,4, 2012.One God, One Aim, One Destiny.Christ, Israel's salvation and Ethiopia, the land were our God loves to be.
