A Bride For Isaac - Nation of Shem Separated - (Holy)
In the previous post we mention that Abraham had a son 14 years before his heir in Isaac. Ishmael the son of Hagar, and Egyptian- Ham was not worthy of the inheritance of Noah (Eternal Life) through our Lord and Savior Yahshua. He was sent away and given a blessing from his father Abraham. When Sarah conceived and bore Isaac, the lineage is rectified in Shem. "Blessed Be the Lord God of Shem" Gen. 9 v. 26.When Abraham was old and blessed in all things, he made his eldest servants swear by an oath that he should not allow Issac to marry a Canaanite woman (Ham). Fo he remembered the will of The Lord through Noah. Abraham speaks Gen. 24 v.3,4 "And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac." Abrahams legacy is passed onto Isaac Gen. 25 vs.5,6 "And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. 6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country."But the purity of the race in Shem would be threatened once again, this time not by Ham - Egypt or Canaan, but by Japheth the elder. Although Isaac goes back to his fathers country, as was sworn to by the chief servant, by that time Bethuel the 8th son of Nahor, Abraham's brother was already married to a Syrian and their offspring were referred to as Syrians though they were only half Syrians. Gen. 25. v.20 "And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian."Rebekah was barren until Isaac entreated the Lord on her behalf. Because she was half Syrian of Japheth, the elder; she could not bring forth a pure heir to the Shemetic line unless the Lord himself would intervene. Gen. 25 v. 21 "And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived."The Bible goes on to state that she conceived twins and that they struggled together within her. This is the struggle for the birthright to continue the lineage promised to Shem by Noah. Japheth "in Javan - Syria" the eldest of Noah's sons contests for supremacy over Shem the second born of Noah. The son of the promised blessing.This intrusion of Japheth - Syrian (White Man) troubled Rebekah the Syrian of Pandanaram. So she went to inquire of the Lord. The Lord omnipotent and omniscient replies Gen 25 v. 23 "And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger."In God's wisdom he allows the elder - Japheth - Syrian to serve the younger Shem. So Essau would lose his birthright to the younger Jacob by a plot orchestrated by their mother Rebekah, in total obedience to the Lord God almighty. For she knew that the elder must serve the younger. Furthermore Jacob desired the birthright of his father Isaac whilst Essau despised it. Gen. 25 v. 33,34 "And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright." The lineage now restored in Jacob, gives way to another covenant within Shem. Jacob is renamed Israel a prince with God and man - this lineage would be passed on in Shem to Judah, Israels fourth son. Gen. 49 v. 8 " Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee."The Covenant of God is kept through RACE in Shem until the coming of the only begotten Son of God, The Word made Flesh which sprang out of Judah.
